什麼是飄色?
what is Floating Colours Parade

飄色可叫做飄色巡遊 ，是長洲大平清醮中的一個重點表演節目。在這個表演中是由小朋友扮成不同的政治人物、虛構人物和歷史人物。小朋友會坐在支架上，由大人撐起支架。
Floating Colours Parade is one of the important performance in Cheung Chau Bun Festival. Children living in Cheung Chau plays an important role in this performance. They wear some special clothings which represent different politician, historical person and ficitional character. Adult hold up a seat and children sit there.

苦工
A tough work

事實上這種表演對於長洲的小朋友來說 ，也算是一個酷刑。因為小朋友必須坐在支架上直到巡遊結束。巡遊需時、天氣炎熱和穿著長長的衣服，對小朋友來說真是苦工。
in fact, the Floating Colours Parade is a tough work for children. The Children wear heavy clothing in hot weather and they have to sit in the seat untill the parade ends.

飄色巡遊 對長洲人來說是一種驕傲
The Floating Colours Parade is a pride of Cheung Chau residents.

SPD4459 島俠不得不承認飄色巡遊 真是一個具有代表性的活動。當說到長洲就一定想到飄色，而說到飄色就一定想到長洲。每年的飄色巡遊 一定會吸引很多的遊客。

SPD4459 Island Lover admit that the Floating Colours Parade is a representative event for Cheung Chau. when peoplee talk about Cheung Chau, the Floating Colours Parade come out in their mind. The event must attract alot of tourism every year.

大街小巷都是人的長洲
Crowded Cheung Chau

在飄色下的長洲，遊客佈滿在大街小巷人頭湧湧。笑聲掌聲源源不絕，令到這個小島頓時佈滿歡樂與生氣
Cheung Chau Under the Floating Colours Parade, tourism fill all the great streets and small alley. They make Cheung Chau as a full of energetic and vigorous island immediately.
